Exchange Guidelines
This is a +18 event. We will allow NSFW so no minors allowed. A NSFW piece isn’t obligatory, but you can request and make a NSFW piece for the eventFanart and/or fanfiction are allowed. You must submit at least one piece of art or writing, but you can gift both if finished by the deadline.No skill level requirements.You must make a finished art piece (no rough sketches) or a fanfic with a minimum of 2,000 words.Your piece is required to prominently feature Jayce and Viktor as a romantic pairing.Please take your recipient’s wish list into heavy consideration when creating your piece.Updates and progress check-ins will be sent via email, so please provide an email address you check regularly on the sign-up form. If you miss two or more check-ins, you may be removed from the event.Do not share the name of your recipient or any WIPs of your project until the posting period begins - this is meant to be a surprise gift!If you need an extension or need to drop out, please contact the mods ASAP via email, Twitter, or Discord.Remember to thank the person who makes a gift for you!
Frequent Questions
✦ How does the exchange work?
✧ Mods will assign each participant to create a fanwork gift for another participant. All works are required to be finished by a set deadline, and are not publicly revealed until that time.✧ Every participant will create a custom gift for someone and receive one made specifically for them in return.
✦ If I have to drop out, what will happen to my giftee?
✧ If you need to drop out, your gifter will be notified and reassigned a new giftee. Likewise, your giftee will be matched with a new gifter.✧ Please let us know in advance about needing to drop out so we can keep the event organized!
✦ Is NSFW allowed?
This is an 18+ event, so NSFW creations are allowed but not required. If you prefer not to create or receive an NSFW gift, you can opt out of both options during sign-up and still participate with SFW piece or prompts.
✦ How specific does my prompt need to be?
✧ Since this event involves both artists and writers, please be as specific as possible on your wishlist and include prompts that can work for both art and fics.✧ Make sure to include a variety of prompts on your wishlist so your assigned gifter have plenty of options to chose from! We recommend a min of 5 prompts and a max of 20 in your wishlist!
✦ [Writers] Can I gift a poem piece?
If your giftee has made clear that they would like to have a poem piece or other forms of written works that aren't your usual fanfiction, feel free to! Otherwise, stick to what is expected of a fic - a written fictional story.
✦ [Artists] Can I gift a traditional media piece?
You are allowed to use any medium you want to use, so long as you get a good quality image as a finished product to give your giftee!
